The Reindeer Inn

Until the mid-1060s The Reindeer was a pub, owned by the Northampton Brewery Company. It had long been a coaching inn with a large yard, stables, coach houses and had its own maltings. Records of the 18th century show churchwardens holding meetings there. In the late 19th century, before the Parish Council existed, this was where the Way Wardens met to appoint the Constable and carry out other duties.
The building housed a well-regarded antiques centre, until the site was sold in the early years of the 21st century for development.
